Elk Range

The newest addition to our outdoor venues is a 26,000sq-ft manicured grass lawn that is centrally located in the heart of Base Village at 8,200ft in elevation. Adjacent to the Base Village paved plaza and shopping center and steps from the Elk Camp Gondola, this area is perfect for small festivals of 1,500-2,000 people, trailer-stage set-ups, small concerts, large tented conferences and more. This lawn has full power options, access to the free Snowmass shuttle system, and an on-site parking garage.

The website says "Shakedown Street in the Heart of the Rockies". This is our type of place! Don't waste your breath to save your face when you have done your best..... Fate will decide the rest! We will see under 3 blue stars

A long-standing Basalt tradition, the Basalt Summer Concert Series has been showcasing a wide variety of musical genres with performances across town for decades.

Elk Range followed by Dragondeer Concerts are held during the summer on Wednesday evenings from 5:30–8:30 p.m., in Basalt River Park. Bring your blanket, chairs, and a picnic, and enjoy free live music all summer long. Be sure to support our area businesses by stopping in for dinner or happy hour.
